The Enterprise Converter is therefore licensed per server. This allows image conversion as part of server-side system. The Zoomify Enterprise Converter is likewise used to prepare images for zoom-and-pan viewing, however, its functionality can be automated via scripting. The Converter is licensed per user, and may not be redistributed without a written reseller agreement with Zoomify. The Zoomify Converter is used to prepare images for zoom-and-pan viewing. Accordingly, the Zoomify License Agreement provides the greatest possible flexibility for Zoomify's customers. Zoomify products enable image content creators to easily author and publish high-quality images for fast, intuitive viewing over networks such as the Internet and on distributable media such as CDs and DVDs. THE ZOOMIFY LICENSE AGREEMENT ALLOWS MODIFICATION OF THESE FILES AND REDISTRIBUTION IN SWF (NON-SOURCE) FORM.
#ZOOMIFY SAVEHANDLERPATH CODE#
NOTE TO DEVELOPERS: TO SUPPORT DEVELOPER CUSTOMIZATION AND ENHANCEMENT OF THE ZOOMIFY VIEWER THE EDITABLE VIEWER SOURCE CODE ('.FLA' AND '.AS' FILES RATHER THAN COMPILED '.SWF' FILE) IS AVAILABLE AS PART OF ZOOMIFY'S ZOOMIFY DESIGN AND ZOOMIFY FLASH PRODUCTS. Here it is (note that this only applies to the Zoomifyer viewer, not the ZoomifyImage code or contributions): Of course, no changes to anything else - don't want to touch others code, licenses, etc.
#ZOOMIFY SAVEHANDLERPATH FOR FREE#
I'm hoping that because you have this out there for free you'll be comfortable with us giving it even more attention/access by including it in a folder in our product? Assuming this is ok with you and your many contributors, I'd like to replace the license agreement with an updated one (attached, minor mods), replace the v3 viewer swf with our v4 viewer swf (also attached, much more polished) remove all but one test image (the mask, saving download time), and add a readme noting that the most recent version will be at.

We have the ok to include a lot of little 3rd party files - posting options, converter scripting options, even a couple of converters - PHP, PERL. In the next week, I would like to make a new release of ZoomifyImage that includes the new Zoomify viewer and any updated contributions.Īfter a lot of work we're almost almost ready to release our v4 Enterprise product.
#ZOOMIFY SAVEHANDLERPATH UPDATE#
I am going to try to contact all of the contributors individually also, but if you see this message and either would not like to be included in this, or want to update your contributed code, please let me know. Yesterday, I received an email from David Urbanic, CEO of Zoomify Inc., saying that they are about to release version 4 of Zoomifyer and would like to include ZoomifyImage including the code contributed by several people who have followed this project, that can be found in the 'contrib' folder of ZoomifyImage.ĭavid's message is below. Now, each layer can only belong to a single map (in the same way that a single DOM element can only have one parent).I put this message on SourceForge also, but as a contributor to this package, I wanted to email you personally also. Previously, it was possible to render a single layer in two maps. AddCoordinateTransforms ( 'EPSG:4326', new Projection ( ) Layers can only be added to a single map
